Among a technology driven firm’s executive’s challenge, achieving work targets and financial goals in stipulated time frames, while maintaining a highly motivated team, are important indicators of success. In a given financial quarter, there are many moving parts each vying for prominence in a hyper competitive global landscape. Nirrie brought fresh perspectives, and supported the team in making changes to streamline our global practices which in turn strengthen our teams performances, and positively impacted our financial targets. Through Nirrie’s work with individual team members, individual management styles were adapted to a team culture, supporting fast moving change management, as we reacted to changes in our competitor’s practices, which impacted our business model. Professional growth inevitably led me to grow on a personal level and Nirrie was able to facilitate both avenues seamlessly. I had a few requirements for my professional support person. First, I needed to know that they fully understood me and that I could trust them. Second, they needed to create a space where my deepest fears could be heard without judgment and lastly, I wanted them to help me to grow and become the best version of me. As a First Nations person my history is loaded. Nirrie was able to support my personal and professional growth with deep compassion and understanding. It wasn’t always easy but pushing the boundaries to become more free was worth the effort and I admit I am a work in progress.
